About Sally
Hello. I am Sally. I have been a failed atheist since a religious experience in 1988, although I still agree with most of the criticisms of organised religion.
Nonetheless, I was ordained in the Church of England in 2006. I have been a hospital and mental health chaplain, a principal of a course training people for ministry and a director of focal (local) ministers.
I am now loving trying to actually do the job of a parish priest in the fabulous Trunch Group.
I have found what I call God in philosophy, psychology and occasionally theology, but much more so in people, the rest of creation and simply being alive. I have become pretty well-qualified academically over the years, but my search for an authentic faith, and what it means to live a good life, begins from scratch again each morning.
