Pop Up Peace Cafes
Please do join us at one of the Pop Up Peace cafes if you are able. We will be saying prayers for peace and giving the people of our parishes an opportunity to talk about the scenes they are being confronted with on their media screens, but feel helpless to change.
‘Father God, for so long we have been praying for peace in Gaza and Ukraine but nothing seems to have happened. In fact things seem to have got worse. Please work in the hearts of Putin and Netanyahu, and all those mongering war, that they may acknowledge the damage they are doing to their fellow human beings. Move their hearts with compassion for the little children whose lives they are scarring forever and the destruction they are causing for so many innocent people. Help us to believe that You are in control and can bring Peace to these troubled people.
Lord in Your mercy, hear our prayer. Amen
